PlayStation 3 quality racer in your web browser

BabeDrift.com promises a console quality street racing experience featuring social networking and music capabilities.

Thirdeye-T has announced the May 2008 launch of BabeDrift.com, a flagship social networking and gaming site. Powered by ThirdEye-T's HoolaNet software, BabeDrift.com promises to combine a PlayStation 3 quality street-car racing game, with social networking, dating, movies, celebrity-making, music capabilities and an in-game comic.
You read correctly, Thirdeye-T is promising a street racing title playable in a web browser with PlayStation 3 quality visuals. We've not seen any shots of the game, so are obviously sceptical, but if they can pull it off it'll be hugely impressive.
The game will feature profiles, bespoke street racing cars and global leaderboards, with a range of quarterly, monthly, weekly, daily and even hourly prizes. These include anything from a real custom built street racing car to the quarterly grand prize of £50,000 in cash.
Look out for more info at BabeDrift.com.
