Heavenly Sword 2 - New Details Emerge

Heavy speculation about making a sequel to Ninja Theory's Heavenly Sword was correct. Even more, Ninja Theory is considering making Heavenly Sword a trilogy, well it is huge trend this days.
So, Ninja Theory recently made some studies and polls where they took the opinions of several individuals. Well here's a snippet of a tip posted on Kotaku:
"They initially asked for video game background, then they had a follow-up phone call asking which games I had played or owned, focusing heavily on Heavenly Sword. There were 3 surveys done on Monday, groups of 6 for the first 2, 4 for the last group (my group). Predominantly males, asking about our impressions on Prince of Persia, God of War, Ninja Gaiden and, of course, Heavenly Sword. Some questions were asked about why Heavenly Sword didn't sell so well, what our impressions were on the gameplay, how the cutscenes were done, combat mechanics."
So Ninja Theory are seriously looking to improve the game and make it by far more enjoyable, they are involving gamers to do so.
Anyway, Here's what we know about HS2, apparently it will take place ten years after the original one, and it will feature Kai, Nariko's sidekick, or some other male with martial arts expertise. As far as gameplay mechanics, we'll be using the analog more (not sure how, but that's what they say), and the game will also include a variety of different martial arts styles. Lastly, Ninja Theory wants to include a more destructible environment, the storyline with repeatable missions format will return, and there will be downloadable weapons, characters and enemies.
So that's it; the first piece of info for Heavenly Sword 2. HS has been amazing even though it was a little bit short, but the artistic value was great, and it was a showcase title for the PS3's power. We'll be eagerly waiting for HS2...
